We have been alerted to an issue where users who have mail clients on Apple devices are likely to encounter an SSL Certificate Trust Warning when connect to our mail servers using an aliased name such as `mail.youdomain.com`. This may be preventing you from connecting our mail servers to send/receive emails.
This issue should only be affecting users who have not yet been migrated to our new hosting platform and are on the old Bronze, Silver and Gold hosting plans.
The easiest fix is to change your email settings as follows :-
Go in to the email account settings and under under the ‘Advanced’ section, switch off SSL for incoming server and set its server port to ‘143’ and under the ‘Outgoing server’ section switch off SSL for the outgoing server and set its server port to ‘25’ .
Alternatively, you can re add the email account and re add the exception to the SSL Certificate via Keychain.
We believe that this has been caused by our provider renewing the SSL certificate on their servers and Apple devices are querying the new SSL certifcate. Once you have made one of the changes above your issue will be resolved.
Kind regards,
The Push Logic team
Affecting : Nickel, Tungsten, Cobalt, Platinum, Iridium and VPS Email services

We'll provide further updates as soon as possible.
The Push Logic team 9.33am
Update - Whilst the datacentre team work on the issue we are seeing some websites loading again although there may still be intermittent loading errors until the problem is fully resolved. Although we haven't been informed as the the exact cause of the problem, we suspect that it is due to a major outage of one or more internet connections or a denial of service attack against the datacentre, both of which are impossible to predict and difficult to resolve quickly. We know that it is being dealt with at the highest level and it will be resolved as quickly as possible.
Please check back here for further updates, kind regards.
The Push Logic team 10.10am
Update - We are seeing more websites returning to normal functionality as the issues at the datacentre are being resolved. As soon as we are notified that everything has been resolved fully we will update this notice.
We apologise for the disruption this morning and appreciate your patience. Kind regards.
The Push Logic team 11.02am
Update - We have been informed that although some services have returned to normal there are still intermittent connectivity issues to some website/email services. This has been attributed to the failure of a piece of equipment which is being replaced at the moment.
We will update this notice when there is further information, kind regards.
The Push Logic team 13.38pm
Update - The latest update from the datacentre is that some hosting accounts may still be affected by intermittent connectivity issues and that they are still working on replacing some hardware. This is frustratingly out of our own control at this point and is the latest information we have. We know that there are many other people also being affected by this issue so the datacentre is working on this furiously to fix the problem. We are looking at our contingency services and are putting some plans together that we will notify customers about in due course. We apologise profusely to any of our customers who are still affected and we will keep monitoring the situation and report back as soon as we have news.
Kind regards,
The Push Logic team 16.15pm
Update - We have just had the following information back from the data centre.
"We’ve identified an internal network issue is the cause of the service disruption. We are working to isolate the issue. This is strictly an internal network issue and has not impacted customer data."
We are still hoping for a full resolution at any moment although we will be releasing another statement in the morning.
Kind regards,
The Push Logic team 10.40pm

20/9/2018 16:01 The datacentre has informed us that they believe the issue has now finally been resolved
They report that the connectivity issues were caused by a huge DDOS attack from North Asia which has now been nullified. Unfortunatley as it was an attack from numerous, changing sources it took a while to block. This type of attack usually aims to flood systems with requests so they become overloaded and cannot serve data in the normal way. All service providers get targeted in this way occasionally. We are confident that no systems were breached during this event and that all servers and data are secure and in tact.
More info on DDOS attacks can be seen here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack
We appreciate your patience and look forward to everything being back to how it should be!
Kind regards,
The Pushlogic Team
20/9/2018 11:00 Services subjected to another DDOS attack
The datacentre appears to have just been subjected to another attack which may have disrupted some services temporarily. The attack has been repelled and services are back to normal again.
The situation will continue to be monitored and the datacentre will take whatever action it can against these attacks as soon as it can.
Kind regards,
The Pushlogic Team
20/9/2018 15:51 Service stable
Things seem to have stabilised again and the attacks seem to have subsided. The datacentre will continue to monitor the situation and will take action if and when any further attacks happen.
Once again we thank you for your understanding and rest assured the team will be on standby should anything further happen.
Best regards,
The Pushlogic Team

We are receiving reports from customers regarding network connectivity issues to our Data Centre. We have informed our networks team and they are currently investigating this problem.
Most of the reports that we've had so far are coming in from Sky and Zen customers. We will keep you updated with more information.
- 13:00 - We have recieved reports of Abnormal server performance on one of our mail servers.
- 15:25 - Currently some users on our mail system are unabe able to login to mailboxes. This is intentional whilst work is being carried out on the server - it will not impact the receiving of emails.
- 17:15 - Users are currently unable to login to Mailboxes on this server while work is being carried out by our System Administration Team. There is a large mail queue on this server and it is still accepting messages for delivery which should be available once logins are restored.
- Update - 21/02/2017 - 20:32
Users are still unable to login to Mailboxes on this server while work is being carried out by our System Administration Team. The mail queue has been reduced significantly on this server however further work is still being carried out, this sever is still accepting messages for delivery which should be available once logins are restored. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Further updates will be made available as we have more information on this issue.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused as a result of this problem.
Update @ 22/2/2017 11:52 GMT
Logging in to mailboxes should now be possible however we've had to limit the number of concurrent connections to prevent the server being placed under a high load. This may result in your login being denied on some attempts, please do not simply keep retrying, give it some time between attempts.
As the server settles we'll increase the number of possible connections and we're continuing to live migrate mailboxes to new servers, this should result in no further interruption to service.
Update @ 22/2/2017 16:20 GMT
We are increasing the number of available IMAP and POP connections further to allow more users to login to Mailboxes on this server. Migrations of Mailboxes that are being performed to other servers is underway and is around 50% complete. As these migrations continue we will be able to increase the number of available connections for IMAP and POP.
We appreciate your patience and apologise for the disruption caused.
Update @ Feb 22, 18:57 GMT
Customers should now be able to connect to Mailboxes with much better success than earlier in the day.
Update @ Feb 23, 00:08 GMT
The 'load' on the mailserver looks good at present, and looking at the logs customers are able to successfully login to mailboxes. Some may experience timeouts but should be fine after a few retries. The mail queue is at normal or expected levels.
Update @ Feb 23, 10:42 GMT
We can confirm migrations have been completed now. Mail logins should be working normally and there should be no further issues. If you're still experiencing any problems please let us know.
We have been made aware that a handful of customers may have experienced slow email delivery this afternoon.
The information we currently have is :-
We are currently having adverse performance on this server, and are investigating the causes.
During this time there may be issues logging into some mailboxes, and some mail delivery may be delayed.
We expect to have it back to normal operation soon, and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Please bear with us whilst this is investigated,
Kind regards,
The Push Logic Team

Update @ 18:30
Site restorations are still ongoing and are taking longer than expected. We will provide ongoing updates as we have them through the evening. We are also continuing to see performance issues with Webmail and FTP connectivity while this problem is ongoing.
Update @ 20:13
Website restorations are ongoing and we are seeing more sites come back on-line. Our Webmail system has also been restored and is now fully back on-line
Update @ 23:00
The majority of websites are now back up and running altought there are still a few with issues. This is caused because of a connectivity issue between our Web Servers, NAS Drives and Database servers. Our System Administrators are restoring connectivity but this is taking longer than anticipated as additional work is required (such as NAS data synchronisation). We are working on the restoration of sites and services with the highest priority and as work continues we are seeing more sites restored. Once again we apologise to those who are still affected and we appreciate your patience.
Update @ 23:10
